why does your hand hurt like mad writing lines?
i was given a 2 hour after school detention last week, and had to write lines. my hand started to ache, and feel sore after a while. i used a standard biro pen for my lines, i dont know if using a different pen would help?
iv got another After-school detention on thursday, any ideas?

Ahhh handwriting… the forgotten art. You’re probably holding your pen too tight… relax your grip a bit and make your letters flow together without stopping & starting too much.
Sounds like fitting punishment for the generation of students who grew up typing instead of writing 😉

when i use my polariod camera each photo has a small mark in the top right hand corner like lines what is this?
I recently purchased some film for my polariod camera and i am currently doing a project. I took some photos today and in the top right hand corner there is a small mark about a cm in size. At first i thought it might have been a finger print but ive been careful not to touch the film. Its like small bendy lines can anyone tell me what this is and how i can avoid it. Thanks.

well it could be a problem with your film. I would get more film and try that first. And it it goes away you just got bad film.. But I doubt it.
I would check your lens it could be something as simple as dirt or dust. on the outside BUT it is possible for your lens to get dirty on the inside. Just get a soft cloth to wipe it. But if its inside that’s no bueno. You deal with it or get it cleaned but that cost a pretty penny. Sometimes you can buy another camera for the cost of someone to clean the inside lens. Or it could be something like a small crack in your lens. I hope its not!

hi its fergie just set up a new account so i could answer you back. It seems each photo i have taken the mark has been smaller. Its not that big a deal because its in the top right hand corner. How do i check if the lens is dirty on the inside?

A compilation of Professor Walter Lewins and some of his lectures at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He draws some of the best lines, especially dashed lines – so fast that his hand isn’t even moving up and down to produce the dashes.
