What can you tell me about getting a tattoo on the palm of my hand?
I’ve read that the color can bleed on palm tattoos and that they tend to fade faster.
Does that mean fade away to nothing? How long would that take for that to happen (weeks, months, years)?
Is one place on the palm better than another, to get a good solid bright tattoo that stays? Maybe the base of the thumb? Or, right below the fingers?
And, would this be more or less painful than a tattoo on other body parts?

I can tell you that it would be extremely painful (a lot of nerve endings in the palm of your hand) and to not do it.

It will hurt a lot when you pick stuff up!

very very painful your hand has thousands of nerve endings.
and its true that it won’t last as long,
but it probably wont fade away completely ever
but it will get that faded ugly look that tattoos all get but quicker than most
its because your skin on your hand exfoliates way more than other parts of you body (excluding your feet)
but if your going to get something in a single color and very simple, like a letter or a money symbol than your pretty safe at least for a couple years, later you might want to get it recolored

What happens to the pencil lead in my hand?
I’m a little curious. I’ve had a fairly large pencil lead stuck in my hand for about 7 years. It seems to be smaller since I was in the 3rd grade that time or is it just because my hand got bigger? Did the pencil lead like disintegrate and leave a little black mark?

I can’t believe I’m reading about the same thing that happened to me. I was around 9 0r 10 years old and I accidentally stabbed myself in the palm of my hand with a pencil. I am now 58 years old and still have the mark from it. The lead did disintegrate and I do have a slight mark where it was. I lived this long with it in my hand so, I guess it didn’t harm me,

No, its the same size as it was when it broke in there, your hand grew around it. The pencil will disinegrate after several decades, but it will partilly be there forever.
