A tarot card reader predicted love, has anybody had a reading that was accurate?
I recently had a tarot card reading. The psychic predicted the time frame of when I’ll meet my “soulmate,” his age and details about his past. I’ve never been to a psychic before so I’m not quite sure how to take this. I’m planning to not put too much stock into what she said but I was wondering if anyone has ever had an accurate reading that came true.

tarot card readings are from the pits of Hell itself. You need to stop playing around with fire.

yup… I’m not in the mood now to explain the predictions that came to pass, but yes some people have the gift to see the future.

Everyone has their own tarot ritual. Some have elaborate prayers and rituals. Me? I shuffle the cards while thinking about the seeker’s question. That’s it. The sky hasn’t fallen yet. 🙂

Every tarot reader has their own way of preparing for a reading, and even their own belief about how it works. The person who told you that you have to pray probably uses that to help them focus their mind so that they can pick up the messages from the cards more easily. That’s the one thing that all tarot readers agree on, you have to focus your mind to read the cards.
Rider-Waite is a good, solid deck, and many of them are actually packaged with books of how to read the cards. You’ll want to experiment with different card layouts to see what works best for you – I usually use a 15-card layout, but that’s just what works for me. Many will use a 3- or 5 card layout with the cards in a row, others will use a cross formation, etc. You may also find that you don’t really connect with Rider-Waite, but find another deck easier to work with, or you may find that a layout that works with one deck doesn’t work with another.
Which all sounds really complicated but if you practice you’ll get it!

Have you ever asked yourself why you find things like this so fascinating? The reason, I suspect, is because down inside you feel uncertain and nervous about the future and think these things might help you feel more confident.
But this is precisely why I urge you to put your trust in God alone for the future. As I have often said, predictions like these about the future are almost never on target (or else they are too vague to really mean anything). Why build your life around them or get your guidance from them? They are only a substitute for the guidance you really need—which is from God.
My other concern, however, is one that I hope you will take very seriously. These things may seem innocent and amusing at first—but it’s easy to get more and more fascinated with them, and eventually become involved in occult practices that are not from God.
Don’t be misled: Occult practices are not from God, but from spiritual forces opposed to God. Instead, put your faith and trust in Christ. When we know Him, we know we are safely in His hands no matter what the future holds. The Bible is right: “When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists … should not a people inquire of their God?” (Isaiah 8:19). http://peacewithgod.jesus.net/
